With cassava bread, a festive treat.
Families gather, near and far,
Sharing stories under the star.
Carols sung with voices strong,
Echo through the night, so long.
The drumbeats call, the rhythms play,
In every home, it’s holiday.
Unity binds this land so dear,
With merriment and Yuletide cheer.
In Guyana’s heart, the season shines,
A Christmas rich with love divine.
