In my recent article “Is Brazil Ready for an All-Out War With Russia,” I highlighted that, with Russian military support for Venezuela, it would be difficult for the United States to intervene in a Venezuelan incursion into Guyana.

At that point, Brazil’s new President, Jair Bolsonaro, had not issued a statement regarding Guyana’s border dispute with Venezuela.

However, after the visit to Brazil by US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, there’s news.

“My approximation with the United States is economic, but it could also be warlike,” – Jair Bolsonaro – President of Brazil – January 2019. See Reference Below.

The Brazilian President said that he is “worried” about Russia’s closeness with Venezuela.

The former army captain also said he is willing to let the United States set up a military base in Brazil to counter Russian influence.

At the same time, the Maduro Regime is facing collapse as world powers increase pressure on Nicolas Maduro to step down.
