On the 23rd of April, 2025, a young girl disappeared from the hotel pool of Double Day Hotel in Region 3, Guyana, South America. According to her grandmother, she left the girl along with her siblings in the pool around midday, but upon returning a few hours later to get them, Adrianna Younge was nowhere to be found. The exact number of other siblings and their ages are not known to this publication at this time. An alarm was subsequently raised and a search operation effected. The police were also called in.
Amidst violent protests and angry mobs demanding “justice,” the young girl’s body was discovered the next morning, 24th of April, 2025, at around 11 AM, floating in the hotel’s pool. The circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body in the pool are somewhat hazy at the moment, and raises many questions, but we’ll get to the bottom of that soon.
Shortly after the disappearance of the child, and right up to the discovery of the body, persons have putting forward the idea that the child was “sacrificed” for wealth. Some social media influencers, and many persons commenting on social media, were observed putting forward the idea of a human sacrifice by the owners of the hotel to get or stay rich.
This outlandish theory of human sacrifice for wealth is very improbable, but still not impossible. The three main religions in Guyana, Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam, all expressly and unequivocally forbid human sacrifice and condemn it as sin. It is not impossible that there may be some “cult like” religions or secret societies existing “under the covers” in Guyana which support, encourage, or practice human sacrifice. But if they exist, knowledge about them are not in the public domain.
We appeal to all law abiding citizens of Guyana to allow law enforcement to do their work as we pray for justice for Adrianna Younge.
