Funnel clouds are powerfully and violently rotating columns of air which may turn into tornadoes if they touch the ground. It turns out that the funnel cloud did touch the ground and turn into a tornado on the 22nd of May, 2022. However, we only received this update yesterday, 24th of May, 2022.
The tornado was relatively mild and occurred in a remote, sparsely populated farming area. Therefore, there was minimal damage to property and lives. Nevertheless, citizens sent in footage of the tornado on the ground as well as photos of a house which was damaged by it. You can see them below.
