A talented Guyanese artist who hails from the village of Karasabai in Region 9 has reached out to this publication to showcase his talent in the hopes of securing work, opportunities, and possibly a scholarship to further his art studies abroad.
Now just 18 years old, Ezekiel Raphael is pursuing professional art studies at the ER Burrowes School of Art in Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
In an interview with this publication, Ezekiel says he is very passionate about art and wants to “speak through his art.” The young man is hopeful that he can secure sponsorship or a scholarship to further his art studies abroad and return to his homeland after having developed his talent further. On this note, he hopes that this feature will open up vistas of opportunities for work and studies.
