An citizen of India traveling through Guyana was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital with blood and injuries about his head and body. Turns out he was beaten up in a minibus.
After treatment, the police questioned him about what happened. The Indian national explained that he was traveling in a bus to Georgetown when a photograph of his mother he was holding fell onto the floor of the bus and slid under a woman’s dress.
The man further explained:
All I said was, “excuse me miss. Please lift your dress. I want to take a photo.”
