Region 9 Football Teams Emerge Victorious in First Rounds of Heritage Games

The Paiwomak Female Football Team of North Rupununi, Region 9.

The Guyana Rush Saints Football Team of St. Ignatius, Region 9 has defeated Hururu of Region 10 today, while the Paiwomak Warriors of North Rupununi sent Siparuta packing with a whooping 5-1.

Tomorrow, 22nd of September 2019, in the semi-finals, the Paiwomak Warriors Female Football Team of Region 9 takes on Parima of Region 7. The Parima Female Football Team are the defending champions of the 2018 Female National Heritage Knockout Football Competition.

Also tomorrow morning, 22nd of September, 2019, the Guyana Rush Saints Football Team of St. Ignatius Village takes on Moruca.
