
The Paiwomak Warriors Female Football Team of North Rupununi are now celebrating victory after blazing through the 2019 Heritage Female Football Knockout Competition.

After a whooping 5 – 1 victory against Siparuta in the first round of matches, the Paiwomak Warriors went on to face the defending champions (Parima) in the semi-finals.

The match between Paiwomak Warriors and the defending Champions, Parima, of Region 7, Guyana, South America, took place during the morning of September 22, 2019. With another sweeping victory, the Paiwomak Warriors defeated Parima and advanced to the finals to face Kamarang.

The final showdown between Paiwomak and Kamarang was held on the evening of Sunday, September, 22nd, 2019. After a grueling battle, the Paiwomak Warriors emerged victorious by defeating Kamarang 2-1. One goal was scored by Satisha Sam and the other by Jacklyn Williams.

The Paiwomak Warriors of North Rupununi, Region 9, are now the proud champions of the 2019 Heritage Female Football Knockout Competition.
