A popular Berbice businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Navin Hansraj, of New Amsterdam, Berbice, is counting his losses after thieves broke into his business place at Strand, New Amsterdam, Berbice, Guyana, South America, carting away hundreds of thousands of dollars in valuables and leaving the place ransacked.

Good Morning, About an hour ago (9 AM, Saturday, 28th December), I came to my gym (Maya Fitness) only to discover that these low life dogs in human form broke into my gym and took so many valuable items and make a mess that would not be easy to forget. Mr. Hansraj is the proprietor of Maya Fitness Club in New Amsterdam and several other small businesses. He is well known for his charitable works in the community which included giving out gifts to less fortunate children for Christmas this year.
