Retired Brigadier Mark Phillips has been selected as the Prime Ministerial Candidate for the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) in the upcoming March 2020 elections. Mr. Phillips will run alongside the PPP/C Presidential Candidate Dr. Irfaan Ali.
The endorsement was made unanimously this after (Friday, 3rd of January, 2020) at a meeting of the Central Committee of the People’s Progressive Party in Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
The retired brigadier is a well-decorated former military professional who he also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Public Management.
