Last updated: March 28, 2020 at 9:47 amMr. Reaaz Holladar, the driver of Attorney at Law, Anil Nandlall, has this morning, Saturday 28th of March, 2020, around 4:00 AM, allegedly committed suicide at his Prashad Nagar home in Georgetown, Guyana.
Mr. Holladar was noted for being the private citizen who had obtained an injunction from the High Court blocking the declaration of the results of the March 2nd elections on the grounds of lack of transparency. He was represented in court by Attorney at Law Anil Nandlall and the Chief Justice ruled in his favor by ordering a recount of the Region 4 votes. The recount was agreed upon but was subsequently blocked by an injunction filed by another private citizen. The matter is presently still being tried before the court.

Police Commander, Senior Superintendent Phillip Azore said that the alleged suicide which took place around 4:00 AM on the morning of Saturday March 28 was caught on surveillance camera and is presently being investigated. Reports are that Mr. Holladar shot himself in the presence of his wife and security guard.
This morning, Attorney at Law Anil Mohabir made the following statement via his Facebook Page:
It is with with profound sadness that I confirmed that Reaaz Holladar, my driver for several years, died this morning at or about 4:00 am. From all indications, he committed suicide. He was a loyal and dedicated employee. He has left to mourn a wife and two sons. With his family, I mourn his loss. – Mohabir Anil Nandlall – 28th March, 2020 @ 8:47 AM.
