In a shocking twist of events, former Guyanese President David Granger has today, 31st of March, 2020, “stepped down from the throne,” accepting that he and his party has lost the March 2020 elections. This happened in the capital city of Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
“The longest rope has an end,” the former brigadier said this evening around 8 PM, “and I am not able to carry on with this business any longer. As a president, I have tried my best rule the country well, but there is only so much a man can do.”
Asked what was his advice to Irfaan Ali, he said, “I don’t have much advice to give him, except to say that he has a lot of ungrateful people to deal with.”
