Georgetown, Guyana, South America.

At the end of day 4 of the national votes recount for all votes cast in the March 2, 2020 elections, a total of 130 out of 2339 ballot boxes were counted.

According to a screenshot released by Lenox Shuman of the LJP, at the end of the tabulation exercise for today, the PPP/C was in the lead with 14,637 votes followed by the APNU/AFC with 9,677 votes.

Once again, there have been various reports of minor conflicts between government supporters, GECOM officials and party agents. One of these is the report from Lenox Shuman that (former) government ministers have intruded and issued orders during the recount process.

Also, there was a conflict of interest between various party agents and GECOM officials with regards to airing of the Observation Statements.
