According to a screenshot of today’s tabulation results posted online by LJP Presidential Candidate, Lenox Shuman, as of the end of today, 10th of May, 2020, the People’s Progressive Party/Civic is leading in the recount with 19,374 votes, followed by the APNU/AFC with 11,637 votes.

Today, a total of 51 boxes were counted, bringing the total number of counted ballot boxes up to 181. That leaves 2158 ballot boxes to be counted in 20 days if GECOM is to hit is 25-days recount target.

The process was reportedly relatively smooth with a few hiccups arising from the APNU/AFC agents finding and highlighting discrepancies in the votes cast. One of these issues was reportedly the scrutiny of a serial number on a vote that turned out to be that of David Granger.

According to Mr. Anil Nandlall, there were also issues of rejected votes that were dealt with in a manner satisfactory to all involved.
