MAHDIA & BY EXTENSION REGION 8 CONFIRMS FIRST CASE OF COVID-19.

The single person in institutional isolation who recently traveled from Moruca -the current epicenter of the Novel CoronaVirus in Guyana – to Mahdia has been confirmed a positive case.

Mahdia, Guyana’s 10th town is a small community nestled in the heart of the Potaro Siparuni District-Region 8 and is also the capital/commercial center of the region.
