We have received intelligence that Guyana has been entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for longest electoral process or longest delay in conclusion of an election.

We have not confirmed this with the Guinness Book of World Records Organization, however, we have heard it from several reliable sources including a reputable St. Lucian Publication.
