A young woman from Brazil has reached out to this publication in seeking help to reunite with her father whom she hasn’t seen for over 10 years.

Neuracyr Souza Carneiro related that her dad left Brazil about 11 years ago to work as a miner in the Bartica Region of Guyana, South America. She explained that they were in constant contact until her mom lost the SIM card that they used to communicate with her dad. Since then, communication has been cut off.

The man, Nelson Ribeiro Carneiro, is a Brazilian by birth who had first left Brazil in the year 2005 to work in the gold mines of Guyana. He returned once to his family in 2009 and spent one month before coming back to Guyana to work again. Since then, they lost contact due to a lost SIM card.

The young woman related that she would be happy to hear that her father is alive and well. If anyone has information that could lead to the reunion of this family, kindly contact Neuracyr Souza Carneiro on WhatsApp: (+55) 95 99111 3091. Please note that the young woman only speaks Portuguese so a translator might be needed.

Thanks for your assistance and kindly share this article especially to people in the Bartica Region of Guyana, South America.
