The two youths, Joel and Isaiah Henry, who were brutally murdered about one week ago at Cotton Tree Village, West Coast Berbice, Guyana, South America will be laid to rest today, Sunday, 14th of September, 2020.
The teens, aged 16 and 18, were found brutally chopped at a coconut farm in Cotton Tree Village. Despite aggressive police investigation and nearly 10 arrests, there has been no confession or conviction and the motive behind the killing of the young men remain a mystery open to speculations and theories.
Meanwhile, the government has announced that it will be engaging specialists from first world countries to assist in the investigation with the aim of finding the killers.
The Guyana Police Force has issued the following notice with regards to the funeral of Joel and Isaiah Henry.

Funeral Prosession proceed North on Chapel Street, West Hadfield Street, North Vlissengen Road, West Brickdam Public Road, North Camp Street, West Middle Street into Parade Ground.
East Middle Street, North Camp Street, east Carfiesta Avenue, continue east Rupert Craig Highway to #3 Village West Coast Berbice

TRAFFIC ADVISORY | In consideration of the overwhelming support expected for the deceased, Joel Henry and Isaiah Henry, the Guyana Police Force wishes to advise commuters that they may experience mild to severe congestion along the West Coast Berbice corridor while the procession is enroute and during the burial proceedings which is expected from 12:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs today Sunday 13th September, 2020.
As such, they are advised to exercise caution if it’s absolutely necessary that they must use the road ways through No. 5 and its neighbouring villages, West Coast Coast Berbice, especially between the hours on 12 and 18 today.
