Guyana’s 914 Toll Free Emergency Hotline

As we bring the curtains down on 16 Days of Activism to end Gender Based Violence, my husband, President Irfaan Ali, my teammates and I donned our orange masks which were provided by the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security to promote its 914 emergency hotline.

The 914 emergency toll-free hotline was introduced to facilitate reports of all forms of violence.

I commend the Ministry for its ongoing efforts and will continue to work with all stakeholders to put an end to Gender Based Violence.
