Today, 12th of December, 2020, the world has lost a beautiful soul: Charley Pride – a great singer, a legend and a family man has passed into the great beyond. According to US media, the iconic country singer died from complications of COVID-19. He was 86 years old at the time of his death.

Charlie Pride was a country singer whose songs have touched the hearts of people around the world. He has perhaps hundreds of thousands of fans from Guyana, South America alone. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the year 2000.

Charley Pride was born on 18th of March, 1934 in Sledge, Mississippi, USA. He was the 4th of 11 siblings.
