Today, Schlumberger Oilfield Services Guyana; Mr. Peter Cahill, Caribbean HSE Manager and Ms. Alicia Bess, Construction HR Representative made a generous donation of a cheque of one million, eight hundred and seventy-two thousand Guyana dollars (GYD $1,872,000), in assistance for the painting of Dorothy Bailey Health Centre.

His Worship and Finance team were all present in receiving this generous act of kindness. During their Visit, The Schlumberger representatives were given a tour of the Centre to discuss future projects on updating the Centre to a more up-to-date and modernized standard. Citizens would be able to get better healthcare in a facility that is comforting to their needs.

His Worship Mayor Narine, Councillor Oscar Clarke and Councillor Ivelaw Henry show their appreciation and welcome future donors in the Oil and Gas Sector. On behalf of the Mayor and City Council, thank you Schlumberger and we look forward to future projects and collaboration going forward.
