After heavy rainfall last night, parts of Lethem, Region 9, Guyana, South America have been inundated. Region 9 is particularly known for its high tendency to experience flooding during heavy rainfall or when the level of the river rises.
The photos below show part of Lethem’s Main Commercial Highway – crossing the Tabatinga Bridge, under water. The famous Tabatinga Creek flows under the Tabatinga Bridge along Lethem’s Main Commercial Highway.
