Last updated: August 9, 2021 at 10:56 amUnconfirmed reports suggest that a doctor and a nurse of the Lethem Public Hospital were temporarily denied entry into the compound this morning because they were not vaccinated. After some time they were eventually allowed to enter.
A request to the Hospital Administrator for a comment on the matter received the following response: “The doctor in question is fully vaccinated and the nurse took a PCR test.”
GSA News: “So if the doctor was fully vaccinated, why was he denied entry?”
Hospital Administrator’s Response: “None were denied entry. Both are working.”
GSA News: “Were they detained at the gate for some amount of time? Because if not, why would people go to lengths of taking those photos and sending them to us?”
Hospital Administrator’s Response: “We are not denying anyone. Our policy is that
1. Fully vaccinated, provide your vaccination card and ID.
2. Unvaccinated, provide a valid PCR test.”
