Last updated: September 20, 2021 at 9:40 amA vehicular accident which occurred last evening at Tiger Hill, Yakarita in the Northwest Region of Guyana, South America has left one person dead and two others critical. The accident is said to have occurred last evening, 19th of September, 2021 at around 7 PM. The deceased has been identified as 26 year-old Mark Wells.
According to our correspondents in the Region, the accident occurred at a hill called Tiger Hill which is reputed as dangerous one and especially famous for its steepness.
Reports are that the men took their employer’s truck and left a village called White Water for another village called Yarakita. The areas are remote and located close to the Venezuelan border. They went into Yarakita, but while coming back, the truck ran off the road.
Mark Wells was pronounced dead at the hospital at Mabaruma last evening. The two other men were rushed to the hospital and are reported to be in critical condition. The truck was written off.
