Dian Mandokin was born in the titled indigenous village of Moco Moco in Region 9, Guyana, South America on the 20th of January, 1996. She attended the Moco Moco Nursery School, the Moco Moco Primary School, and later the St. Ignatius Secondary School where she represented not only her school at the Regional level, but also her Region (9) at the National level. The energic young girl grew up to become a prolific football player. After playing with her football team in Region 9, she advanced to become a member of the Guyana Football Federation and represented Guyana during a football match in Jamaica when she was just 17 years old.

Those close to Dian spoke of her warmth, friendliness, and charming personality. Needless to say, her untimely death left everyone in deep shock.

Today I lost a best friend to abusive relationship. Can’t believe I will never see u again…your lawless laugh, you’re mad ways, your big heart full with love always making everyone happy. It was an honor growing up with you being your friend from school days into a big wonderful woman, a mother, a great one. Am sorry ?????????
