The Guyana Police Force has this evening, 3rd of December, 2021, via its Facebook Page, issued a wanted bulletin for overseas based Guyanese political activist, Rickford Burke. The directives were apparently given by the Guyana Government.
According to the notice posted online by the Guyana Police Force, Mr. Burke is wanted in relation to a series of offenses including defamation, inciting violence, inciting racial division amongst the Guyanese people, inciting public terror, cybercrimes, seditious libel against the government, and others.
Rickford Burke is a well known, outspoken Guyanese politician associated with the People National Congress/Reform. A few months back, Mr. Burke held a meeting in New York where he said openly that the ruling PPP/C government of Guyana is an anti-black racist government and tried to rally revolutionary support against the PPP/C government.
Again today, 3rd of December, 2021, Mr. Rickford Burke, via his Facebook Page which has over 10,000 followers, made an inflammatory post once again accusing the PPP/C government of being an anti-African racist government and called for revolution, revolt, and resistance against, in the words of Rickford Burke, “PPP/C’s racist policies and practices.”
In the post, Mr. Burke also accused the PPP/C of being an apartheid government.
