Guyana Government Condemns Russia’s Action in Ukraine

About one hour after this publication called on President Ali to condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine, the Guyana Government, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has issued a statement condemning Russia’s violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement reads:

The Government of Guyana condemns the violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by Russia. We call for an immediate cessation of military action. The Government is now in consultation with our International partners and will issue a full statement before the end of the day.
