Last updated: May 1, 2022 at 21:12 pmThe mother of famous Guyanese cricketer, Veerasammy Permaul, who was unfortunately and tragically murdered by her husband a few days ago, will be laid to rest on Sunday, 1st of May, 2022.
The CCIM Pentecostal Church of Ramphal Street, Williamsburg, Corentyne, Berbice, of which she was a devoted member, has announced that it will cancel its usual Sunday Service to perform the funeral services of Waynumattie Permaul, who is more popularly known as Dataley Permaul.
The funeral service will take place on Sunday, 1st of May, 2022 at 1:00 PM at her residence, Lot 33 Block 1, Kilcoy, Corentyne, Berbice, Guyana, thence to the Rose Hall Town Cemetery for burial at 3:00 PM.
The Berbice Cricket Board, along with the West Indies Players’ Association and several other organizations have made statements of condolences to the children of Dataley Permaul. Team Guyana, South America joins in extending heartfelt condolences to the children of the late Dataley Permaul as well as all those who were affected by this tragedy.
