On the 29th of May, 2022, we published an article about a thief falling asleep after breaking into the house of Pastor Motie Singh of Parika, Region 3, Guyana, South America. At that time, we had gleaned the information from the Facebook Post of the said pastor. The pastor claimed to have found the thief sound asleep in his house on the Sunday morning of the 29th of May, 2022.
Well, we know our readers would be curious to know the outcome of the situation. So we tried to contact the pastor for details. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a timely response. However, Kaieteur News managed to do an interview with the pastor yesterday, 31st of May, 2022.
No, the thief didn’t get any prayers or deliverance experience. He simply got tied up and handed over!
According to the Kaieteur News report, it was the pastor’s wife who discovered the thief sleeping on the floor around 5:30 A.M. on the morning of Sunday, 29th of May, 2022. The pastor’s wife had left her bed to go downstairs when she made the alarming discovery. She came up back quietly and whispered the news to the pastor.
The pastor told Kaieteur News that the thief had smoked some ganja as the remnants and lighter were there. He also ate a piece of watermelon.
The pastor tried to awaken the sleeping intruder, but he was too sound asleep, allegedly because he was “high.” Pastor Motie Singh then called the police, and together with male members of his house, they tied the thief up. While they were tying him up, the man woke up and mumbled, “uncle, wah yuh doing in me house”?
The pastor replied with a chuckle, “budday, you deh in me house.”
The police arrived minutes later and took the thief to the lockups where he will be charged for the offence.
According to the pastor, the thief broke off a board and gained entry through a window.
