29th of June, 2022. Guyana, South America. GSA News
Last updated: June 29, 2022 at 22:46 pmDear Editor,
Tuesday the 28th June, 2022 will be another day that will go down in history as Guyanese and the world by extent witnessed a blatant barefaced daylight robbery which I am convinced was atrociously orchestrated and politically motivated by the PNC.
The message that was sent by the PNC through the action of their supporters who were predominantly people of African descent of burning, looting, and harming innocent people should never be put into consideration or taken for granted and must be directly addressed and lawfully dealt with the most harsh penalties constitutionally–meaning all involved must be held accountable and be prosecuted for their actions of conspiracy.
Yesterday the world witnessed the life of President Irfaan Ali being threatened in the presence of a sitting member of Parliament who technically acknowledged by not even commenting or cautioning the individual, but instead addressing supporters of the government as trenches and jagabats.
So far, neither the Leader of the Opposition or any of the Opposition member of Parliament has condemned the unlawful actions of its people which clearly states that they are in support of such action.
Tonight I want to make a call on supporters of the PNC, especially those that were involved, to reconsider your position as it relates to your intentions of future destruction which are being triggered and instigated by the Burke’s, Benchops, Hinds, and all those who live abroad that continue to racially divide our people with their propaganda.
Guyana is a beautiful place that is on the horizon of a new chapter of development where all Guyanese despite race, religion, or political affiliation will definitely benefit, and because of this, the spirit of greed, jealousy, and covetousness in the heart of these people they would try to do their best to segregate the people.
I also would like to call on the government of Guyana to ensure that justice in being served to those who were affected and the perpetrators must be dealt with the full brunt of the law making them an example to the others.
The PNC needs to understand that in this modern society; their culture of bullyism will no longer be tolerated and can be matched as well ten times more.
Let us all come together and build Guyana for our future generations.
Kevon Lorrimer.
