The Humanitarian Mission Needs to Expand to Other Regions of Guyana (Redirected)

Speaking to the founder of the Humanitarian Mission Guyana, Mr. Suresh Sugrim, a few days ago, he outlined some of the challenges he was facing in keeping the organization alive. He explained that he is considering closing down the organization because of these many challenges. Frankly speaking, that would be a great loss for the country of Guyana and its people.

Paranormal Activities Reported in Region 9 Schools (Redirected)

Stories of paranormal activities such as suspected demonic attacks are not uncommon in Region 9 and have been going on for years, perhaps decades. The stories are prolific in boarding schools where students live in dorms. Numerous persons have reported that the students of these schools, especially those who live in the dorms, regularly come under what they believe are demonic attacks.

Two Sentenced to Death, but Execution is Unlikely

Two men, Mark Dhuman and Andre Azimullah, has today, 8th of June, 2022, been sentenced to death for the 2017 slaying of businessman Danian Jagdeo. Jagdeo was trailed from the upper Corentyne area down to a shop at Alness Village, Corentyne, while he was plying his trade as a phone card vendor. A man using a motorcycle carrying a false number plate tracked him to the shop and robbed him at gunpoint. Danian put up a fight during which he was shot by the armed robber.

Aubrey Norton Says that President Ali Had Physical Contact with Him Without His Consent

Leader of the opposition APNU/AFC, Aubrey Norton, today seemed irate when he appeared in a live Facebook broadcast and said that the president bullied him into shaking his hands. Norton alleged that he was “in his corner” when the president showed up “with a set of cameras” and attempted to shake his hand. He said he refused, but President Ali bullied him into a handshake – an act which seems to have caused Norton some amount of emotional distress.

UN Pleads with Countries to Repatriate Citizens Trapped in Syria (Redirected)

Living conditions in the country of Syria are difficult even for ordinary Syrian nationals – who regularly flee the country seeking refuge on foreign shores. You can imagine then how much more difficult it will be for foreign nationals living in refugee camps of that country – whose lives are in constant danger every day. The living conditions of the Syrian refugee camps such as Al Roj in northern Syria can be described as “inhumane,” and the faster we empty those refugee camps, the better it will be for Syria and the world.
