Last updated: July 15, 2022 at 22:39 pmA 16-year-old Guyanese girl has today, 15th of July, 2022, reportedly committed suicide at her home in the town of Mahdia, Region 8, Guyana, South America. Her first name was given as “Shana.” According to reports received, a relative of the teenager found her hanging by the neck in the upper flat of their home at around 6 p.m. today.
The relative cut the girl down and upon checking, a pulse was found. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors wrestled to save her life. Unfortunately, she did not survive and passed away while medical attention at the hospital.
The family of the child said they have no idea why she would want to commit suicide.
