The government of Guyana is giving its citizens a head start in building their own spanking new homes with subsidies and concessions that will make it far cheaper. President of Guyana, Dr. Irfaan Ali, said he wants everyone to come on board. The president says the aim is to improve the lives and comfort of Guyanese, increase the net worth and wealth of every Guyanese, and make Guyana a more beautiful place.
For homes up to 6 million dollars, the government will provide the steel needed for the construction along with a sling of cement, and for homes between 6 and 25 million dollars, the government will provide the steel needed along with two slings of cement.
Further, the government has collaborated with local banks to provide 100% financing for housing loans up to 9 million dollars with interest rates of only 3.8%.
The journey to prosperity has begun. The journey is powered by one vehicle, one Guyana. Whether your political views are aligned with the government, you have a seat in that vehicle. I urge you, ignore anyone who tells you not to take that seat. Claim your seat in this vehicle. Sit tight and embrace the prosperity that will come your way.

I would like to know what is the procedure to access this. At present, my residential and farmland applications are pending over 4 years now. I live in the Rupununi and it seems everyone’s applications are sitting on someone’s desk waiting for what we know not!
