A recently launched Facebook News Agency by the name of “Guyana Newz,” which has all the stripes of a tabloid, has launched a scandalous attack on social media personality and philanthropist, Kelvin Fortune, popularly called “Selfie Boss.” The obscure publication stated that Mr. Fortune drugged and raped a 20-year-old man who later committed suicide (possibly due to depression and post traumatic stress disorder).
It is not known at this time whether the allegations leveled against Mr. Fortune are true or not. However, the questionable news agency published the photograph and name of Mr. Fortune, full tabloid style, without a police statement and before the individual was arrested or charged.

Police are currently on the hunt for the suspect.

Jumping on the bandwagon, thousands of keyboard warriors took up the role of judge, jury, and executioner of the case, most of them pronouncing Mr. Fortune guilty without a hearing or trial and condemning him to life in prison or death.
A very trusted News Site, HGP Nightly News, and a reputable journalist, Travis Chase, also carried the story. However, Travis Chase and HGP Nightly News omitted the name, referring to Mr. Fortune as a “popular social media personality,” while interviewing the aunt of the alleged victim on camera.
This publication was able to establish that 20-year-old Emmanuel Sealey died last Saturday, 20th of August, 2022. However, the circumstances of his death still need proper investigation. An aunt of Emmanuel Sealey appeared on HGP Nightly News alleging that the “popular social media personality” drugged and raped her nephew causing him to commit suicide. She claimed on air that a police report was made, and she said that she wants justice for her nephew.
The said tabloid, Guyana Newz, subsequently published a new twist to the same story this afternoon, 25th of August, 2022, saying that the aunt of the deceased wanted to be paid for her story, and implied that she may be after financial gains.

The aunt of the 20-year-old young man who committed suicide on Saturday, August 20, 2022, reportedly wanted to be paid by journalists for sharing her now-dead nephew’s story. This was revealed by multiple sources on Thursday, August 25, 2022. It was also revealed that the young man was allegedly raped earlier this year and not recently. However, the aunt of the young man contacted businessman Azruddin Mohamed instead of the police and told him that Kelvin Fortune popularly known as “Selfieboss” had allegedly drugged and raped her nephew. Mr. Mohamed had only recently donated a car to Fortune to assist him with his charity work. Now that this was revealed it is now believed that the aunt of the young man may have other intentions. Shockingly, the aunt did not file a police report as claimed during an interview. When the incident occurred and Fortune was mentioned he was contacted and he denied the allegations, according to sources.
