Bartica Man Accused of Raping Underaged Girl

Yusuf Hinds, aged 26 years, of Bartica who is accused of raping an underaged girl between the 1st and 27th of October, 2022, was yesterday charged and placed before the court to answer to the charge. The accused on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 appeared at the Bartica Magistrate Court where the charge was read to him.

He was not required to plea to the indictable charge and was placed on $150,000 bail. The matter was adjourned until November 21, 2022.
