At the end of the month of Ramadan each year, Muslims in Guyana, and around the world, celebrate Eid-al-Fitr. The exact date of Eid-al-Fitr varies each year in accordance with the Islamic Calendar which is based on the sighting of the moon. In 2022, it started on May 2nd and will culminate on the evening of May 3rd.
