President Ali Scores 105 Not Out
Dr Irfaan Ali scored 105 not out as Cabinet took on the high command of the Guyana Police Force led by Commissioner (ag), Clifton Hicken in a friendly tape ball cricket match at the National Park Tarmac. Cabinet 267 for 3 off 20 overs ( President Ali 105 not out; Charles Ramson 54 not out and Nigel Dharamlall 35). Guyana Police Force 165-7 off 20 overs.
Aubrey Norton Refuses to Shake President Ali’s Hand…Again
Leader of the opposition, Aubrey Norton, has once again sent a strong message to Guyana’s President, Dr. Irfaan Ali, that he is not on friendly terms with him. His attitude is akin to a voracious animal ready to attack. Opposition leader Aubrey Norton is clearly not comfortable with the position he holds. He seems woefully desirous of switching places with the president.

The President explained how the Gas to Energy Project will reduce cost of living for citizens of Guyana, saving them collectively an estimated GY$27 billion which can be used for other commodities or savings.
