Bartica Karate Dojo Creates History Around the World

The Guyana Karate College Bartica hosted their dojo Grading which takes place every three months on the 17th of September, 2022. The grading which was done at 13:00 hours at the Bartica community center ground multipurpose facility saw 15 persons putting in their best efforts to elevate their ranks.

Two Killed in Mining Pit Accident

Two men were reportedly killed after a mining pit collapsed, burying them, in Region 7, Guyana, South America. The tragedy struck yesterday, Friday, 22nd of July, 2022. A video which surfaced shows workers retrieving the bodies from under the mud.

Actions of Guyanese Men on Dangerous Falls Leave World Awestruck (Redirected)

The actions of two Guyanese men on a dangerous cliff of a waterfall in Region 7, Guyana, South America, has caught the world’s attention. The video, which was first posted in 2018 by Leon Mendonca, and reposted by the Guyana, South America Facebook Page in 2022, was viewed by more 800,000 people so far, and it is going viral.

Body Suspected to be Anisa Miguel Found

A body suspected to be that of Anisa Miguel has been found this morning around 7 a.m. floating in the Mazaruni river several miles away from Martin Landing – where Anisa was last seen. The discovery was reportedly made by a Brazilian miner. The body was clad in the blue jeans and white top that Anisa was last seen wearing.
