The beautiful and magnificent Demerara River separates Region 4 from Region and the West Bank from the East Bank in Guyana, South America.
The Demerara River rises in the Central Rainforests of Guyana and flows to the north for 346 kilometers until it empties into the Atlantic Ocean.
Every day, speedboats make hundreds of crossings across the Demerara River.
