Festa Junina is held every year in the month of June at the Centre for Brazilian Studies – right next to the Brazilian Embassy in Church Street, Georgetown, Guyana, South America. One of the aims of the celebration is to showcase various aspects of Brazilian culture to the Guyanese population. Entry is free and the general public is invited. “Festa Junina” translates in English to “Little June Party.” Be sure to attend the next Festa Junina at the Centre for Brazilian Studies at Church Street, Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
