Karasabai Village is an Amerindian village in Region 9, in the South Pakaraimas District of Guyana, South America. The village is inhabited by a population of about 1500 people most of whom are Amerindians of the Makushi Tribe. The main economic activity of Karasabai Village is cattle rearing and subsistence farming, however, there is also great potential for ecotourism and steps are being taken in this direction.
