The beautiful Rupununi which is located in the Essequibo County of Guyana, South America.
The village of Golden Grove is located along the East Bank of Demerara right after Great Diamond – about 30 minutes’ drive from the capital city of Georgetown in Guyana, South America.
In this picture is the Ashoka rainforest tree of scientific name “saraca asoka” photographed along the Golden Grove Public Road. In Hinduism, the Ashoka Tree is a considered a sacred tree.
