Parika – East Bank Essequibo

The town of Parika is located in Region 3 on the East Bank of the Essequibo River in Guyana, South America. With a population of approximately 4000, the town is known for the famous “Parika Stelling” as well as its busy market stalls which sell a wide variety of produce and products.

The speedboats, docked at Parika Stelling, are waiting to transport passengers across the mighty Essequibo River to the town of Bartica in Region 7, Guyana, South America.

The cost per passenger as of June 2019 was $2500 per person.
