The 100-window (or 99 window) house located at No. 19 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, has fascinated curious onlookers for decades. Many persons have ventured inside the compound where the house is located, called the Fraser Farm, to take pictures. Recently, we published an article where the owner, Maria Fraser, issued a statement advising persons to desist from entering the property without permission from the family.
A recent Kaieteur News Article entitled, “Is the Berbice 100-Window House Haunted,” somehow managed to misinterpret Ms. Maria Fraser as saying during an interview that the house is haunted. Ms. Maria Fraser, heir to the famous 100-window house located at No. 19 village, Corentyne, Berbice, has reached out to this publication to debunk that myth, expressively stating that the house is not haunted and that they have never seen any ghosts or experienced anything of the supernatural in or around the premises.
