Reports circulating online and perhaps also on printed media that the country of Sweden has officially recognized sex as a sport and will hold sex competitions starting June 8, 2023 are false. The stories were unfortunately replicated online by some very influential media houses, some with a followers base of millions, including World is One (WION) and MSN.com.
