Three Region 9 residents were tragically killed today, 26th of May, 2023 in an accident in neighboring Brazil. This publication understands that the group were on their way to the Brazilian city of Boa Vista, which is about 2 hours’ drive from Lethem. The accident took place on the BR-401 Highway about 80 kilometers from the municipality of Bonfim which borders Lethem.
