Personally, I’ve stayed at the Tejmohall Hotel in No. 79 village for over a week and I was very satisfied with the services offered as well as the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff present.
Tejmohall Hotel, in No. 79 Village, Corentyne, is located right next door to a supermarket and about 5 minutes’ walk from the Skeldon Market and the Skeldon Recreational Park. There are several Halall Restaurants which serve local Guyanese cuisine just a stone’s throw away from Tejmohall Hotel.
TejMohall hotel is one of the more reasonably priced hotels in the Upper Corentyne area with the cheapest room pegged at just $12,000 GYD (60 USD). This room is reasonably sized with a king sized bed, air conditioning, hot and cold shower, TV, a small fridge, and microwave. The price does not include breakfast, only free coffee which is available to all guests on the balcony of the third floor.
TejMohall hotel does not serve meals. However, it does have a restaurant and bar on the third floor which sells “cutters” and chicken and chips during the day and into the night. The bar closes at 12:PM but could go up to 2 in the morning if there are many people present.
