Avenida General Ataide Teve

Although this street is not located in “downtown” Boa Vista, it somehow has more business places than the center of town! Avenida General Ataide Teve is perhaps Boa Vista’s most bustling commercial artery chock full of the city’s products and services.

Riu Restaurant

Riu Restaurant is one of Boa Vista’s most luxurious and comfortable restaurants. It serves a wide variety of food laid on the table in self-serve format for you to choose from. Interesting Tourism Points in Boa Vista

The tour bus will make several stops at several interesting tourist points throughout the city where you will learn more about its significance.

The Three-Hour Cruise Along the Rio Branco (White River)

The Rio Branco (White River) is formed by the confluence of the Takutu River and another smaller river, creating this larger river which flows southward and eventually merges with the Rio Negro (Black River). The city of Boa Vista is strategically built on the banks of the Rio Branco.

Cruising along the Rio Branco provides an opportunity to relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery of this waterway while listening to soft music and sipping a light beverage. First, we head southward for a close-up view of the Macushi Bridge, then we return north for a brief stop at a sandbank.

You will drive over this river to enter the city of Boa Vista; then you’ll ride on top of it!

Climbing the Mirante (Tower)

Climbing the Mirante in Boa Vista means ascending by elevator to the top of the 394 foot high tower to have a panoramic view of the city. In the photo below, the young woman is standing on transparent material that shows you the ground 394 feet downward when you look down. Although the transparent material is a type of glass that is supposed to the stronger than steel, and can withstand ten times your body weight, the fear and excitement of standing on it is real. Not everyone can do that. Would you dare stand there?

The Rio Branco Park

The Rio Branco Park is an amazing recreation and relaxation center for both kids and adults. Coming alive in the nights from Wednesday thru Sunday, the spectacular park provides a unique opportunity for entertainment, relaxation, and enjoyment.
