In order to take the Boa Vista, Brazil, One Day Tour, the tourist must make payment in full at least three days in advance of the tour date. Payments are non-refundable whether you take the tour or not.
Indemnification and Liability Waiver
Toucan Tours Brazil has a reputation for safety and treating all tourists to the best of our abilities. Nevertheless, this section of our Terms and Conditions is required by law and is legally binding on both the tour operator and the tourist.
While every effort will be made to ensure the safety and well-being of all tourists, Toucan Tours Brazil will not be responsible for any losses, injuries, or deaths resulting from the Boa Vista, Brazil One Day Tour. By signing up for the Boa Vista, Brazil One Day Tour, you automatically WAIVE AND DISCHARGE CLAIMS AGAINST, RELEASE FROM LIABILITY, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS Toucan Tours Brazil, its subsidiaries and affiliates and their respective officers, directors, stockholders, managers, members, partners, agents, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) from ANY AND ALL LIABILITY on account of, or in any way resulting from your death, losses, or personal injury relating to your participation in the Boa Vista, Brazil, One Day Tour, even if such was caused by perceived NEGLIGENCE of the Released Parties.
Alcohol
Light alcoholic beverages may be purchased by tourists at the various stops made during the Boa Vista, Brazil, One Day Tour, such as at the Riu Restaurant and while on the boat cruise along the Rio Branco River. However, no tourist should consume alcohol to the extent that it impairs their ability to make sound judgement or conduct themselves in a safe manner. The tour guide reserves the right to prohibit any tourist from further alcohol consumption via an oral statement. If a cautioned tourist refuses to cooperate, the tour guide reserves the right to engage law enforcement to prevent an escalation of the confrontation. The tour guide also reserves the right to suspend such tourist from the tour without further responsibility for him or her.
Smoking Policy
Tourists on the Boa Vista, Brazil, One Day Tour are not allowed to smoke while in transit, in restaurants, or in other confined areas. Smoking is expressly prohibited while on the Rio Branco Boat Cruise, in the Riu Restaurant, or while in buses or other vehicles. A tourist may smoke during lunch time or other break periods providing they are not in a tour vehicle and at least 20 feet away from other tourists.
Firearms and other Dangerous Weapons
Firearms and other dangerous weapons such as knifes and other sharp objects are strictly prohibited while on the Boa Vista, Brazil, One Day Tour. If any tourist is found with such weapons, the tour guide reserves the right to engage law enforcement and suspend the said tourist from the tour without any further responsibility for that tourist.
Health and Medical Information
The Boa Vista, Brazil, One Day Tour demands a relatively low level of physical exertion. Nevertheless, all tourists are required to determine whether they are healthy enough to take this tour. All tourists are required to take along any necessary medication that they might need during the day. Although tour guides are trained to respond to medical emergencies, Toucan Tours Brazil will not be responsible for any medical incident or misfortune resulting from taking this tour.
