To get to Tumatumarie from Georgetown, you can drive to Mahdia and then to Tumatumarie. The closest village with a population is El Paso.
Tumatumarie Falls, interestingly, is the site of Guyana’s first hydropower plant, which unfortunately is now defunct, and which was constructed during the rule of President Forbes Burnham.
